I feel like at some point this has to come 'round and bite the shipping companies (not that they’d care) too once everything is so expensive (to buy and/or ship) that ever more people have to stop buying/shipping things.
Although the point at which that happens might be when ‘the machine’ stops…
Gonna disagree on that one. No random peds wandering about, limited number of spots to stop and for the crane operator to drop off cans… ‘Clean Idle’ standards will also force the oldest trucks off the road.
And yeah, ‘pay per load’ is crap for drivers.
