Afterward, I realized it might also be feasible and easier to simply flip the washer on its side. This way, the pump would be exposed, and you wouldn’t need to remove the pipe or front cover. I didn’t try this myself, but I wanted to share it here in case anyone wants to give it a try, or if my pump breaks in the future.”
